The trip continues...after no sleep in Barça, and a flight back to Frankfurt, I turned right back around, and headed straight to Zürich for the evening to rok out at Indochine. Monday I made it over to London after learning that one of my friends and co-workers from Miami, VJ DVDreams was going to be in town. Too keep it brief, we had a great time, met some new friends, experimented with some new technology (more on that in the future), and of course got to check out a little nightlife along with some tourist fun. We made it over to Jalouse, where One of the DJ Prince Charles, who was also at Amber Lounge, was jamming out.Side-note, how proper is it that I finally am checking DJ Spinbad's 90s Megamix, and midway through my writing I pass over time 10:07 of the mix. Day one, practice day, at the circuit was a bit slow, but didn't disappoint. Fast cars and high rev hospitality made for a wonderful afternoon under the Catalàn sun. I made my way to the general admission hills to get a feel for true motorsport passion and emotion. The Spanish fans clearly out numbered the rest in favor of their fellow countryman, Fernando Alonso. Sooooo, where did I leave off? I think it was Friday night, and we were about to head to Cocoon Club to check out Richie Hawtin. Well, we did, but not without stopping to check out Julian Smith's party first. It was a nice little warm-up party...you can get his latest live mix here. As expected, Richie Hawtin blew the place up, and the club was still going strong as I grabbed some currywurst on the way out some time after 5a. By the way, when are we going to get a David's Cafe inside of a Miami club? As Saturday began to slowly get into motion, we made it to the Frankfurt game, and unfortunately the club didn't gain a new fan. May is here, weather is nice, and I am getting off to a fast start this month! First of all, happy birthday to my brother today. Secondly, I landed in Frankfurt this morning, and the following weeks promise to be rokin! Frankfurt is always a lot of fun, thanks to the GoodLive crew, DJ Katch, and Julian Smith. Some firends from Miami are also in town, and I hear some more are on the way, even my fam, DJ Irie.It's Friiiiiday night, and I plan on heading to Cocoon to check out Richie Hawtin...who by the way is taking Twitter to the next level for DJs. Well, now that the dust has settled, I have settled into the new year. I will be getting off to a busy start right away. I started off the year jammin' at the Fontainebleau Pool all week, and just played at the BCS Championship Party last night.  Pangaea Hard Rock is up this Saturday, and then it's off to Europe January 11th. I will be in Kitzbühel, Austria for a week playing at the HYPO Liechtenstein Snow Arena Polo World Cup 2009! The following week I will be at Bread and Butter in Barcelona with Yaga and Christy's Crown Series. Friday, January 23rd, I will be rokin' Parktheater in Kempten, Germany. Saturday the 24th, I will be back in Barça rokin' at Catwalk Frankfurt with the GoodLIVE family rokin' DJ Katch's Delorean party Micro in Cocoon Club! As many of you may know, I was born and raised on Galveston Island, a true "BOI".  My whole family currently resides on the island.  I would like to thank everyone for their support and concern, as it makes this difficult time a bit easier to deal with.  Thankfully, everyone is safe, and we must just deal with a lot of rebuilding and recovery.  Things will be tough, but they could always be tougher.  Thanks again, and I will keep you posted on the progress.  We must keep on moving, and positivity is the only way to improve the situation.  Everything WILL be alright!
