Finally my latest Mixtape is ready to give-away…

I did a very eclectic mix somewhere between Hip Hop, Dance, Rock, Pop, R´N´B, Oldies, Goldies, Classics, 80s, 90s…UNLIMITED!!! As announced a few times before “UNLTD” is the concept we are running once a month at my residency 3001 in Düsseldorf. So far we had great international guest djs such as Chuckie, Erok, Jekey and Kofi. Here is a mix that I recorded a month or so ago, but have yet to share. It is the next edition of my Roknsol mix series. This one is a special edition…all Brasilian beats, including, bossa, samba, mpb, breaks, and some classics. I think now is the perfect time, considering the are warm summer beach days ahead, and the Brasilian Film Festival will be in town next week.

So, chill the caipirinhas, caipiroskas, and cerveja…lay back and turn up the mix.

EROKMONACO GP [Live Mix]

26 days, 13 flights, 3 train rides, 2 Formula 1 Grand Prix races, 1 lost suitcase later, and of course a 1.5 hour delay on the runway in Chicago due to massive lighting storm…I can’t help but feel a bit deflated. Such an electric last couple of weeks, and now back to ~~sunny~~ rainy Miami.

Tomorrow definitely seems like a good day hit the beach, if the rain holds off. To rewind a bit, I plan on cooling out on the white sand to a set I recorded at the Red Bull Energy Station at last week’s Moanco GP Saturday afternoon. Download and enjoy…keep in mind It was my first time ever playing on Pioneer CDJs, ouch, definitely not as fun!

Cruel Summer? KikRoks!

Having an unusually cruel summer? I don’t think you are the only one. It seems that complaints and stress levels are maxed out this year. Is it the economy, heat, politics, relationship, or just blah blah blah? Who knows or who cares…KikRoks! Yeah that’s right! Fortunately or unfortunately I had this past Friday night off, but instead of fading off, I started messing around on the decks and went ahead and pressed record. Later on that night, I listened to the mix, and felt that this could cheer a few of you up. Some new and older stuff that is a good alternative to kikn’ roks. So, next time your feeling a little down or flat, pump this mix, and hopefully the good vibes will pick things up! Enjoy.
